NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Stilbaai Yacht Club Committee hereby give notice of the Annual General meeting of the Club to be held on Saturday the 29th of August 2026 at 10am in the SYC club house.
In line with SYC Constitution 18.2 -Any member wishing to have any matter included in the Agenda, other than an alteration to the Constitution [refer paragraph 20], must give the Club Secretary, in writing twenty-eight [28] days before the date of the meeting, due notice of such matter and shall sign it as proposer; such proposal must bear the signature of another member as seconder. These submissions may be signed electronically.
Submissions to have Resolutions included in the AGM agenda deadline will close by close of business on the 1st of August 2026 and must be emailed to the Club secretary by email info@stilbaaiyachtclub.co.za.
The Club committee are calling for nominations for committee members
14.7 Not less than (14) fourteen days before the date of the Annual General Meeting, the Club Secretary shall post on the notice board of the club and by email to members, a notice
calling for nominations for posts on the Committee;
14.8 Nominations referred to in paragraph 14.6 hereof shall be:
14.8.1 Signed by (2) two members with voting rights and countersigned by the candidate
himself; digital signatures will be acceptable
14.8.2 Delivered to the Club Secretary not less than (4) four days prior to the date of the
Annual General Meeting;
