Day visitor fees

All visitors are required to pay a daily visitors fee for access to, and use of the Stilbaai Yacht Club (SYC) facilities on a daily basis. This fee can be booked through the SYC website SHOP or purchased at the SYC gate upon arrival.

All visitors who book accommodation must pay a visitors fee for each person, for each day they stay. This fee covers access to the club and its facilities and is charged both on the day of arrival and on the day of departure.

Guests of SYC members, who are also Share Block members, are not required to pay the daily visitors fee if they are accommodated on the members property for the duration of their visit. The Share Block occupation allocation is 6 persons for a caravan stand and 8 persons for a house. Anyone exceeding the Share Block allocation must pay the daily visitor fee.

SYC has several accommodation options for those members and visitors that don’t have Share Block houses or caravans.

How to Book accommodation

All SYC accommodation can be booked online through the SYC website under: Bookings. There is a 2-tier pricing system for SYC members and non-members. https://www.stilbaaiyachtclub.co.za/bookings

The booking will not be confirmed until paid for in full and the booking will be cancelled and released after 7 days should no payment be received and confirmed.

Bookings may be cancelled in writing up to 24 hours before arrival for a full refund.

Keys for your booked accommodation can be collected from the SYC bar. Please note that a refundable R100 cash deposit is required upon collection of the keys.

Check in, not before 2pm on arrival day and check out no later than 10 am on departure day.

SYC Accommodation

•Log Cabin Huts – suitable for 2 persons. Sleeping accommodation only. Situated in Area 3 behind the Share Block Caravans.

•Parkhome – suitable for 4 persons. Minimal self-catering. Situated in Area 3 amongst the campsites.

SYC camping areas

There are 3 main camping areas on site.

Area 1 – Shoreline area

There are shaded camps sites between the shoreline, and the Share block caravan stands. The site offers facilities suitable for both tenting and caravan camping. Whether you prefer the traditional experience of pitching a tent or the convenience of arriving with a caravan, the grounds are equipped to meet the needs of all campers. There are electrical points and potable water points. Suitable for tents and caravan camping. There is a mobile toilet trailer in this area (only during major holidays and events). This area uses the Share Block caravan ablution and main club house ablution blocks.

Area 2- Area at the Top of the keelboat boat park.

These camp sites can accommodate up to 6 people per site. There are electrical points and potable waterpoints. The site offers facilities suitable for both tenting and caravan camping. Whether you prefer the traditional experience of pitching a tent or the convenience of arriving with a caravan, the grounds are equipped to meet the needs of all campers. This area uses the Share Block caravan ablution and main club house ablution blocks.

Area 3 – Area behind the Share block caravan stands.

These camps sites can accommodate up to 6 people per site. There are electrical points and potable waterpoints. The site offers facilities suitable for both tenting and caravan camping. Whether you prefer the traditional experience of pitching a tent or the convenience of arriving with a caravan, the grounds are equipped to meet the needs of all campers. This area is in close proximity to the main club ablution block.
