SA SAILING 2022  29er YOUTH NATIONALS

ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY

1. The regatta is open to 29er’s
2. Entrants in this event shall have birth dates not earlier than 31 December 2003.
3. To be considered an entry in the event, a boat shall complete all registration requirements and pay all fees.
4. Entries close at midnight on 30th November 2022. Late entries will be accepted until 11:00 on 14th December 2022.
5. All competitors shall be members in good standing of the relevant National Class Association and of SA Sailing, and of a yacht club affiliated to and in good standing with SA Sailing (or their equivalent in the case of non-South Africans), and legally permitted to compete. Proof of such membership shall be presented at registration.

SCHEDULE

1. Registration, Equipment Inspection and Event Measurement: Wednesday 14^th December from  08h00 to 10h00.
2. Dates of racing: Wednesday 16^th December to Friday 16^th December.
3. The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race on Wednesday 14^th  11h00.
4. Thursday 15^th to Friday 16^th  – Start of first race for each day will be posted on the notice board by 19h00 the day before.
5. A maximum of 10 races are scheduled.
6. On the last scheduled day of racing no warning signal will be made after 13:00. 
7. The main prize giving will follow as soon as possible after the last race on Wednesday 21st December 2022.
